U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has officially transitioned to a mandatory online
scheduling system for TN visa applicants at all Buffalo-Niagara Ports of Entry, including:
- Peace Bridge
- Lewiston–Queenston Bridge
- Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls)
Previously, applicants could schedule TN visa appointments by phone or even walk in. Walk-in
appointments are no longer accepted at these Ports of Entry. All TN applications must now be
scheduled through the online appointment portal (link below).

How to Book Your Appointment
Applicants must select the appropriate USMCA “service” and provide:
- Basic biographical information
- Their TN occupational category (as listed in the USMCA professions list)
- Preferred port and time slot
- (Optional) Pre-submit documents via email
💡 Tip: While the system doesn't clarify exactly what to submit in advance, we strongly recommend sending at least your TN support letter from your U.S. employer.
Available Hours
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM across all three
border crossings.
